Every year, we are committed to not participating in Black Friday, as we do not support this activity for the harmful consequences it brings to our earth . This year is expected to produce 429,000 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions from product deliveries alone, equivalent to 435 return flights from London to New York!* (*Source: https://www.wastemanaged.co.uk/black-friday-waste/")
For that reason, we are encouraging our dear ragwear family to say #NoLikeforBlackFriday and instead be part of our “More trees , less black” campaign, where each purchase made at our online store from Black Friday to Cyber Monday equals to a tree planted.
With the help of Tree-Nation, we can plant trees across different projects. Just last year, we were able to plant 3894 trees and captured the equivalent of 467.72 T of CO2!
